Custom Paint by Numbers Kit - Created from your photo

The quality of your finished painting depends heavily on the photo you start with. Here's what works and what to avoid:

✅ What makes a great photo

• Clear, sharp focus - especially on the main subject
• Even, natural lighting - soft daylight is ideal
• Subject fills most of the frame - close-up or mid-shot works best
• Good contrast between the subject and the background
• Resolution of at least 1000 × 1000 pixels (a standard smartphone photo is fine)
• A simple or plain background helps the subject stand out beautifully in the final painting

❌ What to avoid

• Backlit photos - where bright light is behind the subject, washing out detail and colour
• Blurry or out-of-focus images - these cannot be sharpened in conversion and will result in unclear number sections
• Subject too small in the frame - if your subject takes up less than a third of the photo, fine detail will be lost
• Heavy filters or high contrast edits - natural, unedited photos convert best
• Low resolution or heavily compressed images - screenshots from social media often don't have enough detail

💡 Good to know: Any photo can technically be used, but photos that follow these guidelines will give you the most satisfying result to paint - and the most impressive finished piece to hang on your wall.
